Meet Jennifer

Jennifer Kirsten Ginther, EA, is the Founder and President of Fairwinds Tax Rescue & Recovery. She is an Enrolled Agent, federally authorized to represent taxpayers before the IRS, and has spent much of her life working with and alongside small business owners.

Originally from St. Louis and raised in a family of builders and entrepreneurs, Jennifer developed an early understanding of what it takes to run a business, both in the field and behind the desk. She began working at a CPA firm during high school and college and later went on to own and operate a roofing company and work extensively in her family’s remodeling business.

Jennifer is also a Florida-licensed general and roofing contractor. That background gives her something that cannot be learned from a tax textbook: firsthand experience with the responsibilities, risks, cash-flow pressures, and day-to-day realities of owning a business.

In 2018, Jennifer became an Enrolled Agent and brought those worlds together. She combines technical tax knowledge with practical business experience and a problem-solving mindset to help people navigate difficult tax and financial situations.

Jennifer understands that an IRS problem is never just a number on a notice. It can affect a person’s livelihood, family, sleep, relationships, plans for the future, and sense of financial security. She believes clients deserve strong representation and clear answers, but just as importantly, they deserve to be treated with respect, empathy, and dignity throughout the process.

Family, financial security, resilience, and helping people move forward are at the heart of how Jennifer approaches both life and business. She and her family call the Ponte Vedra Beach area home, and outside of work, she enjoys time with her husband, two adult children, her dad and stepmom, and their dogs, along with cooking, gardening, reading, being outdoors, backyard BBQs, and floating in the pool whenever she gets the chance.

The name Fairwinds has special meaning to Jennifer. It comes partly from the horse farm where she spent some of the happiest years of her childhood riding and training horses, and partly from her family’s Navy connection and the traditional blessing, “fair winds and following seas.”

For Jennifer, Fairwinds represents safe passage through difficult circumstances and the opportunity to move forward on stronger ground.

That idea also connects to a larger purpose she calls Multiply Good: helping one person, family, or business regain stability can create a ripple effect that reaches far beyond the immediate problem.
